Shane Lebow

Chief Executive Officer


Shane joined PVComplete in November of 2023 and leads all revenue and business operations. Shane has over 10 years of experience in the solar industry and started his career working in Project Finance at SunEdison and at private equity firm, 38 Degrees North. Prior to PVComplete, Shane ran solar development at New Columbia Solar, a C&I solar company based in Washington, DC. In his spare time, Shane enjoys playing golf and surfing. Shane holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Earth Systems from Stanford University.

Brian Hogan, Ph.D.

Chief Technology Officer


Brian provides technical vision and leads the software engineering process. He oversees the design and maintenance of software architecture, leveraging computer science and human computer interaction principles to solve real world problems. Prior to joining PVComplete in 2015, Brian created software for compressed air energy storage, water and energy management for industrial agriculture, wildlife protection and environmental advocacy, and perceptions of disability in West Africa. Brian holds a Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology from UCLA..

Juan Ferreira, Ph.D.

Data Scientist & Senior Software Engineer
 Porto Team Lead

Juan joined PVComplete in 2018 and helps integrate mathematical models and statistical tools into PVComplete products. Juan has worked on projects related to climate change as an environmental consultant and research scientist in the fields of physical meteorology, climatology, and oceanography. He has a Ph.D. in Physics from University of Aveiro, Portugal. In his spare time Juan enjoys running, hiking and reading.

Carlos Frias

Senior Software Engineer


Carlos is a senior software engineer at PVComplete. Carlos has two great passions: mathematics and computer science. He enjoys learning about new technologies and how innovation can positively impact our natural world. Prior to PVComplete, Carlos was a professor of mathematics. Carlos joined PVComplete in 2021 and works out of the company’s Porto office.

Electrical Engineer and CAD Support


José is a trained Industrial Electrical Engineer with a specialty in Photovoltaic (PV) design. José works in PVComplete’s product support department, testing software and helping customers with related support requests. Jose is enthusiastic about leveraging software to simplify complex tasks, creating designs that will ensure efficient and effective project execution.
